Out of respect for the animals, we kindly ask that you do not bring any dairy, egg, meat, poultry, or seafood onto the property. The Gentle Barn is an outdoor farm environment, therefore we strongly recommend all visiting guests wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, a hat, and plenty of sunscreen. Be sure to bring plenty of water for your group!
Need a hug? Feeling sad, lonely, stressed out and scared from the last year? Come heal with us! Get hugs and unconditional love from our therapy cows. Meditate with them, hug them, and let them reassure you, fill you up, and love you. Put your worries down and leave renewed. We and the cows are here for you.
Attention Caregivers! Cow Hug Therapy is not just for your clients, or the people you help, it is also for you! The last year has been extra challenging for all of you teachers, social workers, caseworkers, and caregivers who have been there for everyone else. Our cows and The Gentle Barn want to be here for you! Yes, even the healers need healing! Don't suffer compassion fatigue, you are not alone!
Book a Cow Hug Therapy Session and let everything go when you hug a cow, close your eyes, breath in and out deeply, and feel grounded, centered, and recharged!
We will meditate with the cows, spend time hugging them, and cuddle with them. By the end of our time together you will feel more hopeful, inspired, and deeply connected to yourself and the world around you.
1 person private sessions, but 1 additional guest is allowed if you prefer to bring someone with you. Due to the intimate nature of this experience, no more than 2 guests total are allowed for Cow Hug Therapy sessions.
This is meant to be a soothing and healing experience with calming energy, and without distractions, so we ask that if you are bringing a child, they are 14 years of age or above in order for us to provide the most benefits from this experience.
Want to have the barnyard all to yourself? Book a Private In-Person Tour!
You will get an intimate 2 hour experience. We will share the history of The Gentle Barn, personally introduce you to all of our animals, and share their stories of rescue and recovery. It is an experience unlike any other!
