The Gentle Barn Foundation is home to sixty animals rescued from abuse.
The Gentle Barn is host
to abused children, kids recovering from substance abuse, kids on probation, foster kids and children and adults with mental,
emotional and physical challenges.
Through the interaction with animals the kids learn forgiveness, courage, strength,
leadership skills, trust, empathy and kindness. The healing that takes place when the kids get together with the animals is
miraculous.

At Risk Youth Program
Our at risk program works by bringing inner city kids and at-rik youth to our facility to build self-esteem,
learn positive values, heal their pasts, discover their inner selves, and reach out for bright futures. Learn more...

The qualities that we believe animals have are unconditional love, kindness,
and a non-judgmental attitude to all. After being rescued, the animals at The Gentle Barn have so much love to give back,
and with these wonderful qualities we believe that they are perfect for people with special needs. Learn more...
The Animals and Their Stories The 60 rescued farm animals that reside at The Gentle Barn have all been rescued from
severe abuse. They have been rehabilitated with deep tissue massage therapy, chiropractic care,
acupuncture, western medicine, herbs, nutritional supplements, top quality feed, and countless hours in the arms of our staff.
