Turkey Cross Country Road Trip

I feel like the luckiest person in the world that I get to know a turkey in this way. It feels exactly like traveling with a dog. She walks with us, shares snacks with us, looks out the window at the view, chirps along with us as we sing, and draws a crowd wherever we go. She loves all the attention she's getting and patiently allows all her fans to pet and cuddle with her. She poses for pictures and if she could, she'd sign autographs.

I'm grateful for our fans from all over the world who are joining us on our turkey road trip on social media. I'm grateful for the company, help and support from my co pilots, Michelle and Afton. And I'm especially proud of my daughter, Cheyanne. She's so helpful and easy going with this whole thing. Gentleness is at the core of her being, it comes naturally. My heart aches for a whole species of humans who think, talk, and behave from the core root of kindness. My daughter Cheyanne and all the beautiful open hearted children who come to The Gentle Barn give me hope that it's possible.
