DUDLEY TURNS 3 THIS MONTH! Wow that went fast! Dudley was rescued 2 years ago with a missing foot and a broken heart. We brought him to University of Tennessee Knoxville Large Animal Hospital to have several necessary surgeries and get fitted for a prosthesis. He has overcome so much and yet has always maintained a positive attitude and joyful spirit. Because of Dudley we opened the second Gentle Barn location in Knoxville, Tennessee. Hundreds of foster kids and human amputees found hope and inspiration, and thousands of people around the world have adopted a plant-based diet. Dudley is a hero and an inspiration to us all! He will change the world…indeed he already has!
Dudley is still recovering from having bone spurs removed at the hospital a few months ago. He is up to wearing his prosthesis for four hours, twice a day and is doing great! His spirits are high and he is back to his usual mischief of knocking things over, stealing everyone else’s hay, and making us all laugh. If you haven’t met Dudley yet or gotten one of his hugs, I HIGHLY recommend it! Come see him soon!
