By Ellie Laks, Founder of The Gentle Barn
This week we began construction on a new enclosure for the sheep, goats and llama to spend the night. There was a bobcat sighting in our neighborhood and we cannot take any chances with our babies. So we are making the area behind the barn taller and more secure. We will have a new roof to keep them dry, new walls to keep them out of the wind, and fences to keep any predator away from our sweethearts. The animals are getting used to our new routine and enjoying it back there. They all looked refreshed and happy each morning when they can once again bounce around the barnyard, meditate under the shade trees, and play with their friends.
When you support The Gentle Barn, you not only help us save new animals, but keep all our animals safe and sound and give them the life all animals deserve. Thank you for your support, we cannot do this work without you!
