Inside Scoop: Andrea in Tennessee

One year ago today my life changed completely. I was given the opportunity to work for an organization who I had admired for so long for all the love and light it puts into this world. The Gentle Barn Tennessee has taught me to slow down and appreciate people and moments. It has taught me about kindness, compassion and understanding. It has taught me about the power of a hug and a listening ear. It has taught me that we don't have to go through life dreading each day and hating what we do. It has given me more purpose in one year than I have found in my entire life. It also gave me so many amazing photos! One year later and I still wake up and pinch myself each morning that this is my life. I have been blessed with the most amazing job, surrounded by the most amazing people, and have finally found the real me who I spent so many years hiding. Thank you Ellie Laks Weiner for giving me this amazing opportunity. I hope to spend the rest of my life being a voice for these amazing animals, helping to heal hearts and living my dream.
