Dudley started physical therapy this week and seems very happy. He has received acupuncture that helps control inflammation and pain, and E-stim to help the muscles on his injured leg develop and strengthen. He is getting more friendly and curious by the day. The other day he licked the vet’s face and tried drinking from the hose when they were filling up his water bucket. He is so cute! This week they sedated him and took off his cast to check his sutures. The vet was very pleased with his progress. Dudley was fitted with a new cast and temporary prosthetic, which he is getting used to and putting weight on comfortably. His permanent prosthetic is being designed as we speak and should arrive by the end of February.
