Oh Rats

Last Sunday we had some very special visitors. A woman came to meet me and when I went to hug her, she stopped me and explained that there were rats in her collar. At second glance, I saw that there were three lumps around her neck. I asked if I could meet them and she pulled out three adorable and very large rats. They were so docile and friendly. One of them climbed up my arm and snuggled in my hair and she was so soft and warm, I fell instantly in love with her. They had such a calm, peaceful, loving energy and they gazed into my face when I told them how beautiful they were. People from around the world come to see our animals and learn their stories, but last Sunday I got to introduce our furry friends to some very special and sweet guests; it was so fun to have them here! I hope they come back soon!
