Turkey Cuddles

Over the last few weeks The Gentle Barn has been packed with visitors from all over the world who have come to cuddle with the turkeys. Grown ups and children alike have sat on the ground, put one leg on each side of the turkey, kissed their pink heads, whispered secrets in the ears, put their hands under the turkeys wings to scratch them and have been delighted when the turkeys have sat down and fallen asleep in their laps. More and more people are discovering that turkeys are more like gentle, feathered dogs: just as affectionate and smart. Have you cuddled a turkey?
