A Very Happy Ending

Tux was abandoned at a vet’s office when he was only 2 years old. Trying to be kind, the vets kept him as a hospital mascot. He is now 18 years old and is in kidney failure. Wanting to find him a home of his own before he left this world, another rescue contacted us in the hopes we would help them. We posted Tux on Facebook and we got applications from three very kind hearted and generous families willing to take him in. The agency did home checks and found the right match for Tux and delivered him to his new forever home this week. Tux now knows what it’s like to sleep in someone’s arms at night, to watch late night movies in someone’s lap, and what its like to have a real home. Thanks to The Fuzzy Pet Foundation for caring about Tux and contacting us to share his story on Facebook, and thanks for the angel who took him in and is loving him with her whole heart for the rest of his time here! Right now Tux is purring in his new home and that makes us very happy!
