Read Sweetheart's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Sweetheart was actually born at The Gentle Barn. We rescued over 100 animals from a severe cruelty case, and some of them gave birth here. Sweetheart was born to her beautiful mom, Sunshine, and lived her whole life at The Gentle Barn, knowing only kindness, compassion, gentle hands, bedtime cookies, respect, and love. Sweetheart held the hope and the space for all animals everywhere to be revered as all animals should be. Sweetheart was Gentle and full of joy with golden eyes and beautiful warm energy. Most sheep typically live till eight, and Sweetheart passed away in her sleep at the age of 14. We will remember her always.
