Read Snow White's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Snow White came to The Gentle Barn California location along with approximately 100 animals from an extreme cruelty case. She was emaciated, filthy dirty, terrified, and very sick. We spent many months resuscitating her, healing her body, and showing her kindness. In time, her body recovered and she learned to trust us. She spent her life at The Gentle Barn surrounded by her sheep family, people that loved her, and guests that delighted in her golden eyes and extraordinary gentleness. We were lucky to know her! She lived a respected, safe, and loved life and passed away in her mid-teens surrounded by her family.
