Read Roo's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Roo escaped from a slaughterhouse with five other cows and ran for hours through the streets of St Louis seeking refuge. They were eventually rounded up and returned to the slaughterhouse. Thankfully the community begged for their lives raised money for their freedom, and we were able to bring them to the safety of The Gentle Barn. Roo is carefree, playful, and has a great sense of humor. Roo will spend the rest of his life at The Gentle Barn with his brothers, making us laugh and cuddling those that come looking for hope.
