Read Patience's Story (In Memoriam)
Patience was rescued from a cruelty case and was very sick when she arrived at The Gentle Barn. After working round the clock for months to save her, we were able to resuscitate her. Patience was kind and gentle to the smallest guests and the newest animal. Her favorite thing was to climb up high and look down at the rest of us. Once we were able to build play structures for our goats, Patience was always on the top of the highest one. At the age of twenty-three, Patience passed away with her face in our hands, kisses on her head, and whispers of thanks in her ears for giving us the honor of knowing her.
