Night Goddess the cow, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn California
Night Goddess and her mom, Pushpa were rescued with many other cows from a cruelty case in 2008. Her mom was terrified and had seen the worst of humanity, but Night Goddess was young, still innocent, and very curious. Goddess was able to grow up surrounded by friends and family and experience the best of humanity, full of bedtime cookies, soft gentle hands, and the care that all animals deserve. Her mom has since passed away, but Night Goddess is still loving life and having fun. She loves when we rub her shoulders, massage her back, or scratch her under the chin. Even though she has horns, she has always been gentle and kind, never harming anyone. Night Goddess was named in a naming auction by a ten year old girl, and probably has one of the best names of all time!
