Minnie Mae gave birth to her daughter on a freezing December morning. Her tiny baby got frost bite and lost her back feet and the ends of her ears, while mom watched helpless, trying her best to care for her newborn. Thanks to a concerned neighbor we found out about them and brought them both home to The Gentle Barn Tennessee so Lolli could get the medical attention she needed, and Minnie Mae could have the love and life she needed. Minnie Mae was scared of us at first, but finally started trusting us and making our place her home. Lolli now has prosthetic legs and can run, jump, and play alongside her mom, Minnie Mae, who will be able to raise her daughter from beginning to end for the very first time.
