Read Linus's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

We rescued Linus 8 years ago from a terrible cruelty case. He suffered so much! We brought him home and gave him daily tummy rubs, treats, and love until he smiled again.
Over the years he has been a fan favorite of ours: rolling over for tummy rubs with the slightest touch, always being gentle and kind to everyone, and making us happy with his squishy face full of character.
Lately Linus has been having trouble walking, as is very common with older animals. But this week he couldn't get up by himself at all. Our vet said it was time for Linus to be gently helped out of his body. Our promise to each animal that finds sanctuary with us is to help them live a joyous, loved, happy life, and when it's time to walk them home with dignity.
Linus crossed over peacefully and easily today and was so happy to go. It was a life well lived
