Read Kaylee's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Kaylee was hit by a car in a bad neighborhood. We scraped her off the street and took her to the hospital. Little did we know that healing her body was only the first step. Once her body was better, our real work had begun. When we brought her in the house or car she would start convulsing and throwing up in fear. It took us a year and a half to reassure her that she was safe and welcomed in the house as part of our family. Now she is a therapy dog to the kids who come here to heal.
