Indie the horse, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn Tennessee

Indie was saved along with our other horses, Chris and Worthy from gross neglect. They were all underweight, malnourished, and terrified of humans. Indie was the mother figure for the three horses, so when Worthy went to the hospital to correct her deformed leg, Indie went with her. Indie spent 6 months by Worthy's side giving her strength, hope and companionship. It took a long time to gain Indie's trust, but she is finally loving, happy and affectionate with all of us.
