Read Ginger's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Ginger was rescued from the animal shelter. We don't know why she was brought there, but we are sure glad we found her. She loved talking and had a lovely melodic voice. She was very social and had a lot of friends. Her best friend was Sunrise and they cuddled up next to each other to sleep each night. And she loved to be held and cuddled by our staff, volunteers, and guests, especially in the cold. Ginger gave us 15 years of love and we are so grateful to have known and loved her for so long. She passed away easily and quickly from old age.
