George was brought to The Gentle Barn when he was only a few weeks old with his mom, Irma. He was going to be sold and taken from his mom and thankfully we were able to negotiate their release and they were both brought to the safety of The Gentle Barn to live together for the rest of their lives. Unlike most cows, George will grow up at our sanctuary and only know love, kindness, respect, and safety. His life and his story will serve as a living representative for all cows everywhere who are not so lucky.
