Gaia was rescued from extreme cruelty and only knew the worst of humanity. When she came to The Gentle Barn she was scared and it took a very long time for her to relax when we were near. But slowly, she is enjoying relaxing in the sun, meditating with her friends, large meals, and bedtime cookies. Gaia was named by Pamela Anderson who, like us, dreams of a world where no animal will know the horrors that Gaia lived before coming to us.
