Forgiveness was rescued from Thanksgiving in 2023. All the turkeys rescued that year were given names of qualities that we need more of in the world. Forgiveness is a quality we use far too rarely. This beautiful bird, once seen as an object, raised for her flesh, and sold as a commodity, is an example of forgiveness when she cuddles with people and gives us all her energy, beauty, and love. Forgiveness will inspire guests at The Gentle Barn California for the rest of her life.
