Emmett came to The Gentle Barn's California location from a family who was moving and was not able to take Emmett or her sister, Poppy, with them. Emmett loves to run to us when she sees us, follow us around, and get petted. She does not always love to be picked up, and, of course, that is always respected. Emmett has a very sweet yet strong personality and protects her little sister from the romantic advances of our rooster, Snoopy. We were worried that Snoopy would be too much for them, but because of Emmett, they are able to walk around the yard safe and undisturbed. We are thrilled to have both Emmett and Poppy and look forward to many more years of loving them!
