Eclipse the cow, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn Tennessee

Eclipse the cow, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn Tennessee

Eclipse was born on September 16th, 2016 during a once in a lifetime eclipse of a Harvest moon. She was born to her mom, Maybelle who was pregnant when we rescued her. Maybelle was never allowed to keep her babies. Eclipse is the very first baby that was not taken away from Maybelle. Eclipse is her moms living apology, and our hope that one day we'll have a gentler world for all moms and babies everywhere, no matter what species!

If you have not already. Watch Maybelle's story first to see how everything unfolded from beginning to end.
