Before we met her, Danara had two consecutive riding accidents that rendered her lame. She was then put on stall rest for a year, but never healed. We were asked to take Danara home to The Gentle Barn to get the care that she needed. Danara is now getting monthly acupuncture, massage therapy, sports medicine therapy, and energy healing. She is receiving daily CBD, Sun Chlorella, and exercise. Danara has DSLD, a deformity of the ligaments in her back legs. She gets daily stretches, anti-inflammatory medication, and podiatry to make her more comfortable. Danara has been accepted by our herd, nurtured by our staff, loved by our guests, and will retire as part of our California family for the rest of her life.
