Daisy was one of the original chickens to be rescued by The Gentle Barn. She came along with 30 other chickens who were living in a homeless woman's car. When we discovered the situation we asked if we could lighten the woman's load by taking in her animals. Over the last ten years Daisy has warmed the hearts of hundreds of children.
