Bonnie the horse, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn California
Bonnie belonged to a lovely family who was laid off during the pandemic and could not recover financially. We were able to take Bonnie off their hands and allow them to focus more on themselves and their recovery. We have not had an equine matriarch for several years and are thrilled to have Bonnie as our new leader. Bonnie is strong, extremely intelligent, and caring of others. It took a while for Bonnie to get to know all our other horses, but she is now fully integrated into our herd and will spend the rest of her life taking good care of them, while we take good care of her.
