Read Bloom's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Bloom and her sister, Brave were raised by a woman who loved them very much. She hand-fed them, cuddled with them, and saw them as family. When the neighbors complained and threatened to report her for having turkeys, we were asked to take them. We happily brought them home. Bloom and Brave made themselves very much at home. The two of them quickly became our barnyard supervisors, bossing around the sheep, scolding the emu, and making sure all visiting humans knew the rules. Bloom passed away at only a few years old in the middle of the night, and our veterinarians were stumped as to why. We all miss her very much and are so sad about her sudden passing. The best way to describe Bloom is that she was an angel, and we were all blessed to have known and loved her. Like all angels, they are never here long enough!
