Read Aretha's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Aretha was raised to be eaten and advertised on Craigslist that she will be delicious. We went undercover and brought her home to The Gentle Barn instead. She was absolutely terrified of humans for the first year, but then realized that we love her. After that she became the true diva of our barnyard and would push us with her head for a back scratch. She gave out hundreds of thousands of hugs in her lifetime and served as a true inspiration for all of us. She passed away in her sleep of old age, surrounded by her family, and will be missed always.
