April 's person could no longer care for her or her medical needs, so we brought her home to The Gentle Barn where she has soft shavings, fresh food, clean water, friends, warmth, and a huge purpose showing our guests how magical horses are. April needed extensive dental work, podiatry, and extra calories and nutrition when she first came to us. April is 28 years old and extremely intelligent. She is a natural leader and gets along with all our cows and donkeys. She loves cookies and neck scratches. April will live out the rest of her days with us at The Gentle Barn Missouri where she will get morning massages, bedtime cookies, and always lots of love. She is enjoying the best years of her life.
