Read Annie's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Annie was rescued from euthanasia at a high kill shelter after being hit by a car and breaking her pelvis. We brought her home and with good vet care, acupuncture for circulation and blood flow, Sun Chlorella Algae superfood to boost her immune system, and countless hours in our arms, Annie finally healed and thrived. Annie also had a heart condition and needed special care for the remainder of her life so we placed her in a permanent foster home to receive the love, affection, and consistency she deserved, and the care from The Gentle Barn that she needed. Annie ultimately passed from a stroke, but the several years that we had with her were so appreciated! She was feisty and inquisitive, affectionate and opinionated; a true cuddly diva. We feel blessed to have known and loved her and she will remain in our hearts forever!
