We took in a mommy pig and her young son from a family who could not afford to care for them properly. We found out later that the mom also had three daughters, and we were able to bring the entire family to The Gentle Barn Missouri location so the family could get the care that they needed and stay forever intact. Alice is shy and unsure about humans but loves her new huge day yard complete with pools to splash in, shade trees to nap under, grass to munch on, dirt to dig in, and other animals to entertain her. Alice is happily wagging her tail all day long and will eventually realize that we humans are kind too.
