Savannah the horse, living in sanctuary at The Gentle Barn California

Savannah was born and raised near our California location. She had an injury as a young adult that compromised her comfort and mobility. When her family did all they could for her, we took her home to The Gentle Barn to continue her therapy and care.

To decrease inflammation, increase circulation, and relieve any discomfort, Savannah is receiving regular acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic, and sports medicine therapy, Sun Chlorella, anti-inflammatory medication, the Beamer, red light therapy, animal communication, energy healing, music therapy, bedtime cookies, and of course lots of love every day. We will care for Savannah so that she is mobile, comfortable, and happy for the rest of her life.

Savannah was born in 2006 and is extremely smart. She is quirky, fun, and full of life. She loves to stick her tongue out and give kisses with her muzzle. She loves her winter coat, thick shaving bedding, bedtime cookies, morning walks, and time out in the pasture with her friends.
