Patience was rescued from Thanksgiving in 2023. She was used for breeding and saw her family taken from her year after year until she was to be killed. Thankfully we were able to bring her home to The Gentle Barn instead. She is nervous and shy, preferring to stay away from us. With patience, time, and love we will keep talking to her, singing to her, and reading out loud to her until she trusts us and learns that people can be kind and the world can be good. She will be safe and sound for the rest of her life at our California location.
