We were contacted by a lovely couple in Colorado Springs who asked us to take in their horse. Their Morgan, Marley had a back injury which rendered him unrideable and needed the sort of rehabilitation that we offer at The Gentle Barn. He was being bullied by the other horses he boarded with and kept from accessing food, water, and shelter. With his weight loss, short coat, and thin frame, the coming winter would have proven life-threatening. Once we heard his story and saw those kind eyes, Jay and I were hooked and bound for Colorado to bring him home.

Marley will spend the rest of his life at The Gentle Barn with a family of gentle horses and donkeys. He will have plenty of food, water, and shelter. He will get acupuncture, massage therapy, sports medicine therapy, Sun Chlorella algae superfood, Jill and Joan CBD, and Puremedy healing salve to make him whole, happy, and healthy.
