"As a child, I grew up in rural Missouri and we had a Hereford cattle farm. I grew up with these amazing animals, had chickens in our back yard and lots of land to run and play on. This upbringing is what made me become vegetarian at 9 years of age. I absolutely love what Gentle Barn is doing and I believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn about the animals and the land.
