Snowball is a domestic pigeon who should have never been flying wild. But they do use these gorgeous birds for weddings and events and it sure looks nice when they take flight. Sadly, though, they don’t know how to find food and are so vulnerable to predators. Snowball was attacked by a hawk and badly injured. She landed on someone’s car seeking help, and thankfully they were kind enough to bring her to a bird rescue. Once healed, they asked us to take her. We just knew that our other pigeon Fern would love her, so we said yes. It was love at first flight, and Snowball and Fern will live happily ever after at The Gentle Barn in California.
