Guests: Ellie Laks, Founder and Educational Outreach Director of the Gentle Barn, came in to discuss the farm/animal rescue program that she started 8 years ago to save animals that have no other options for rescue.  They host abused kids, kids in foster care, probation, kids in gangs, on drugs, kids from the inner cities who don’t have an opportunity to combine with the healing elements of nature.  They also operate a special needs program for kids and adults who are mentally, emotionally & physically challenged.
