Film Night in the NOHO Arts District March 30, 2007
Film Night is a monthly presentation of films presented by IDEAS
(Investigative Documentaries Educating American Society) in association with the International
Student Film Festival Hollywood (ISFFH). IDEAS mission is to educate American society on
the most important social subjects facing America going into the 21st century. ISFFH offers student filmmakers from all over the world a unique opportunity
to gain the recognition of film industry leaders, create career development opportunities in their home countries and the
U.S., and celebrate new artistic discoveries from all over the world. Film Night offers an insight to the work of fellow filmmakers
with personal interaction, including a question and answer period after each film.
This month’s Film Night will be held in the NOHO Arts District
on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 7:00 pm at The Hub Theater 5245 Lankershim Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91601. Support our local
filmmakers, admission is free! We will be screening productions from ISELA along with a Ron Krauss film.
The Institute for Spiritual Entertainment Los Angeles (ISELA) is an up and coming community in Los Angeles. Their purpose
is to promote the new genre of films called Spiritual Cinema/Transformational Media. ISELA's mission is to create and
produce movies as well as other media that awaken the truth within us in order to inspire individual and social transformation.
The idea is to ask such questions as "who are we?" and "why are we here?" provoking change toward higher
consciousness and awareness. Our intent is to assist others in making films from their highest place while expressing their
true selves.
ISELA's first production is called The Gentle Barn. It is an inspiring
short based on a true story about an Alzheimer's patient named Thomas and how he is transformed when a Spiritual connection
is made between him and the farm animals of The Gentle Barn. It is a shining example of how a professional production can
be done in harmony with Spiritual values.
