Noni and Josh were rescued from an abusive petting zoo. They were overweight, their toenails were so long that they had difficulty walking, and their coats were matted and filthy. Because of years of abuse and neglect they had lost all faith in people.

The Gentle Barn staff went to work to heal their hearts, and restore their bodies to health. It took a lot of persistence and patience but they are now the first ones to greet visitors at the gate.
