I just came home absolutely exhausted from our turkey road trip. Leaving Adeline in Tennessee was excruciating! I've loved her for two years, but over the last ten days we've bonded so deeply. It's not about me, however, it's about Adeline. She's happy on the grass with all the attention and on her new adventure. Adeline is very aware of her job opening hearts and changing the world one cuddle at a time.

While I was on our turkey road trip, Jay was in St. Louis saving and caring for six cows who had escaped from a slaughter house. This week, Jay brought the cows to the Missouri Large Animal Hospital to get vet care. They ran fecal and blood tests, treated them all for parasites, and addressed their wounds. One of the cows seems to have an injury causing a limp and heavy breathing. We're doing radiographs and diagnostics, and put him on pain medication.

Once they are all treated and in good health, we'll be bringing them to their permanent home. We're still determining whether that'll be in Tennessee or in California.

Their medical bills will be high. We were not prepared to undertake this rescue at this time, but when no one stepped up to save them, we had to respond. Please help us, help them. We cannot do this without your help.
