Zeus was acting strange the other night, not eating and acting lethargic. So, we got our vet out right away and upon examining him she said he might have had a stroke. His lungs and heart sounded strong and clear, he seemed absolutely fine the next day, and there were no residual neurological issues. She explained that when animals get older they sometimes have strokes, and we should keep an eye on him to see if it happens again. Strokes are sometimes recurring and in some instances a one-time event. We are keeping an eye on him and giving him extra Sun Chlorella Algae super food and hydrations throughout the day. So far, Zeus is feeling fine, eating, blowing bubbles in his pool, and rolling over for tummy rubs.
Zeus and Bodhi turn ten in April and we’re planning a big party for them on Sunday April 23rd. Mark your calendars for the big piggy bash!
