By Ellie Laks, Founder of The Gentle Barn
Milo was left alone in a backyard for nine whole years because his people got him as a gift and didn’t want him. When the couple got divorced, Milo was going to be sent to the pound but we found out just in time and brought him home to The Gentle Barn to be part of our family instead. Because he was left alone and unwanted for so long, he needed much vet care when he first arrived. He had trouble breathing and his heart was enlarged and frail. But after the right meds, Sun Chlorella Algae Super Food, and lots of love, Milo is now a healthy and happy boy! Because Milo will need ongoing medical attention for the rest of his life, and because he is very attached to his foster moms and we don’t want to hurt him, Milo will be a permanent member of The Gentle Barn family for the rest of his life. Milo will get to live inside the house, sleep in bed under the covers, play with toys and be surrounded by friends, and be pampered, as all dogs should be.
