Shirley Temple was rescued from a backyard butcher where she was taken away from her mom at an early age. When she arrived at The Gentle Barn, she was scared, alone, sick and starving, so we took her in and became her family.

Every day, she showed more hope in her eyes until one wonderful day when she let go of her past and was renewed with life. She will only know love and kindness with us here for the rest of her life.
