Rooty had a good home and a human mom who loved her very much. Her happy life ended when her mom died suddenly. Because Rooty was older, no one wanted her, so she came to The Gentle Barn to live for the rest of her life. She is warm and comfy in her bed of grass, and with her new friends she is now as happy as she can be without her mom. Now, Rooty lives in the smaller enclosure within the upper barnyard with Sidney the blind black pig.
