Read Flash's Story ^{(In Memoriam)}

Flash came from a home where her and her 6 sisters were loved and cared for as family members. When the family moved they quickly found out their home was not safe for her and her sisters when Flash was attacked by a neighbors dog. The family was able to save Flash but she was left with several injuries. The family was able to heal Flash, but they knew they had to find a safe place for them as the dogs kept coming back. Knowing that not many people will care for hens the way they had been, they reached out to us and we were happy to give them a forever home. Flash's external injuries healed after the dog attack, but unfortunately she still suffered from internal injuries that despite our best efforts we could not save her from. She was only with us for a few weeks, but she left a huge imprint on our hearts during that time. Flash sacrificed her own life to protect her sisters and she will always be remembered here with them.
